ama-la

Ama-La supports refugee women and their children in achieving independence through artisanal activity, in a pathway that comprises reception, integration and rebirth.

Craftsmanship as an instrument of emancipation

The ancient artisan knowledge, preserved by the Calabrian masters, is handed down to women refugees from different countries of the world, who have taken this opportunity to redeem from a difficult past to build a better future for them and for their children.

The products that you find in our store are created by Happy, Ilhaan, Majida, Harmony, Yaram, Amal, Ana who, in Camini, have learned to weave the ancient frame, sew, embroider, design clothes, scarves and accessories.

The proceeds of sales will help to give them work and support the cultural development of the territory.
